I’m Christy – a freelance photographer specialising in portrait, lifestyle and documentary photography. I’ve worked in the industry for over 10 years and pride myself on my friendly, adaptable and inclusive approach. I started taking photos when I was 11 years old and began working in photography from the age of 14. My favourite things are people, plants, pets and photography, and I love working with and supporting ethical and sustainable businesses.
I have worked in various areas of the photography industry, including event and corporate based work, from family portraits and boudoir shoots. I’ve also worked as a Picture Researcher at a photographic archive, which has given me insight in the importance of sourcing (and now creating) an image that matches businesses and publishers needs. I also have experience in darkroom processing and printing, and can advise and assist with specialised and bespoke prints.
